We have an exciting opportunity for a Group Worker to join the HMP Rochester Substance Misuse Service who has the skills and experience to assess and engage with our service users, ensuring that they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.

Where HMP/YOI Rochester East Sutton Park & HMP Maidstone
Hours Full Time - 37.5 per week
Full Time Salary £27,861.26 - £32,002.35 dependent on experience (Based on full time hours, pro rata for part time hours)
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Kent Prisons Substance Misuse Service is a specialist service that is committed to supporting service users to tackle their drug and alcohol use, reduce reoffending and lead happier, healthier lives. Whether their aim is to stop using substances completely, to cut down, or for harm reduction information, we are here to support that journey.
About the role
The focus of the role is delivering and developing group interventions for the prisoners engaging with the Psychosocial Substance Misuse Service within HMP/YOI Rochester East Sutton Park & HMP Maidstone, using evidence based practice, covering the most appropriate issues to the service users. This will primarily be our Foundations of Rehabilitation programme, but also include group interventions such as SMART Recovery and pod working. This role is based full time in HMP Rochester.
About you
We’re looking for an innovative Programs Facilitator (group worker) to join our team, with experience of delivering group work, who is committed to providing the best solutions to our service users. Someone that will proactively promote engagement in group interventions. While working within a dynamic environment, being flexible and adaptive to changing priorities is key.
