Maintenance Engineer £40,000 Northampton We are looking for a motivated Maintenance Engineer to join a key corporate site in Northampton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a business-critical environment with long-term stability and excellent development prospects. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) according to schedules Responding to reactive maintenance issues and help desk requests Performing electrical and mechanical fault diagnosis for PPM and reactive maintenance Conducting minor installations and repairs to services and systems, including lighting, ventilation, AC, pumps, and distribution systems Providing site cover when necessary Handling customer enquiries and reporting actions to line management What We're Looking For: Previous experience in corporate or business-critical maintenance environments Practical electrical, mechanical, or building systems experience Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) desirable – training can be provided Ability to respond to KPIs and manage tasks efficiently Strong communication skills and a flexible approach Full driving licence Qualifications & Training: Formal electrical or mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds, 18th Edition, etc.) are desirable but not essential – we welcome candidates with strong practical experience ACOP L8 water systems maintenance training will be provided BMS system training will be provided LVAP & HVAP Training can be provided in the future Why This Role Stands Out: Northampton site with significant investment and refurbishment opportunities Long-term contract with potential 5-year extension Team of 15, including dedicated fabric teams Opportunities for career development and training Package & Benefits: Monday - Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (40 hours per week) 25 days annual leave bank holidays Overtime Available Training & Development Team & Environment: Join a supportive team of 15, including dedicated fabric teams, on a site with ongoing investment and refurbishment Additional Benefits: LVAP £1,000 / HVAP £2,000 This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional looking to expand their skills, work on a high-profile corporate site, and be part of a supportive, growing team.
