Stroke Specialist Clinical Lead

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Stroke Specialist Clinical Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering excellence across the stroke pathway – from hyper‑acute care through rehabilitation to safe, effective discharge planning.
Key Qualifications
* Has advanced knowledge of stroke care and the end‑to‑end stroke pathway
* Demonstrates strong clinical leadership and decision‑making
* Can influence practice, drive improvement, and support multidisciplinary teams
* Is committed to improving patient outcomes, flow, and experience
* Has a clear understanding of discharge planning, system working, and community interfaces
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert clinical leadership across stroke services
* Support and influence best practice, standards, and service development
* Work collaboratively with MDTs, managers, and system partners
* Champion safe, timely, and effective transitions of care
