Prospero Teaching is seeking a Music Teacher for a Secondary school based in Romsey.
The school is a large mainstream Secondary School with a supportive cover team and teaching staff.
The position is open to both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
1. Location – Romsey
2. Position – Music Teacher
3. Start date – September 2025
4. Full time/part time – Full-Time
5. Hours – 8:15 am – 4:00 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
6. Recent Graduate, with a 2:1 or higher
7. Previous experience working in a UK school
8. Up to Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
9. Qualified Teaching Status
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
10. Hold Right to Work in the UK
11. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
12. Provide two professional child related references covering the last 2 years
