FutureGen Recruitment is delighted to represent a leading regional planning consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to support a growing portfolio of residential-led regeneration and mixed-useschemes across Yorkshire.
This firm operates at the intersection of strategic housing delivery and urban revitalisation, advising developers and investors on schemes that bring underutilised land back into productive use.
The Role
As a Senior Planner, you will take ownership of medium-to-large scale planning applications and act as day-to-day client contact on key schemes.
Responsibilities
* Leading planning applications from instruction through to determination
* Drafting detailed Planning Statements and strategy reports
* Managing Local Plan representations and consultation responses
* Representing clients at planning committee
* Supporting appeal submissions where requiredMentoring and supervising junior planners
This is a role with genuine autonomy and responsibility.
About You
* MRTPI qualified or close to achieving chartership
* Strong residential and regeneration experience
* Confident communicator capable of representing clients publicly
* Commercially aware and solution-focused
* Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
