Job Title: KS3+ Teaching Assistant
Location: Burton-on-Trent
Salary: £90 – £110+ per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time or Part-Time
Are you passionate about supporting secondary school students to reach their full potential?
GSL Education are looking for a committed KS3+ Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Burton-on-Trent from September 2025. This role is ideal for someone who can motivate and assist students in Key Stage 3 and above, helping them to succeed academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities of the KS3+ Teaching Assistant:
* Provide classroom support to students across KS3, KS4, and potentially post-16.
* Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
* Offer targeted one-to-one or small group interventions to support learning.
* Help to monitor and record student progress.
* Promote positive behaviour and a respectful learning environment.
Requirements for the KS3+ TA role:
* Previous experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to build rapport with young people and support their individual needs.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the update service or willingness to apply through GSL Education.
