Job Description
What you’ll do
You will provide person-centred care and support to a cheerful 7-year-old boy with chronic lung disease, helping him thrive in his local primary school environment. Your day will begin at his home, where you'll accompany him safely to school, and conclude by escorting him home again.
Key responsibilities include:
* Personal care and hygiene
Tracheostomy care and peg management
* Equipment checks throughout your shift
You'll support his health needs while encouraging safe self-feeding and promoting independence wherever possible. During the school day, you’ll help him engage fully in classroom and social activities, whether he's playing with his favourite toy cars, learning with classmates, or spending time with friends.

Qualifications
What you’ll need
Previous experience is not required but will be an advantage, flexibility, kindness and compassionate is key for this role. Full nurse training will be provided in Oxygen and Saturation Levels, Tracheostomy and Peg management
