The Role
We are currently looking for a skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our team based in Newport.As a key member of our depot operations, you will be responsible for the inspection, servicing, repair, and assembly of a variety of industrial products, including power tools and lifting equipment.Your focus will be on maintaining equipment to the highest standards to ensure reliability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out mechanical repairs, servicing, and maintenance of hire equipment in line with company and manufacturer standards
2. Prioritise and manage workload effectively to support operational efficiency
3. Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and parts used
4. Support depot operations by ensuring equipment is safe, tested, and ready for hire
