Are you ready to lead the way in geotechnical excellence across Wales? We're looking for a Lead Specialist Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and become the go-to expert for geotechnical advice on landfills and EPR installations. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure that permitted sites are engineered to the highest standards, safeguarding our environment and communities.
You'll collaborate with hydrogeologists and contaminated land specialists, providing expert guidance on groundwater pollution, remediation, agricultural consultations, and environmental investigations. Your work will shape NRW's regulatory approach to geoscience-interpreting legislation, developing policy and guidance, and creating tools that empower our teams.
This is a unique opportunity to influence national policy, manage high-profile projects, and represent NRW on complex and contentious issues. You'll be part of a dynamic team within our Operations department, reporting to the Geoscience Team Leader.
