We have roles available at the moment within a NHS Prison setting in LEYLAND, for Band 5 Pharmacy Technicians.
These roles do not require any previous experience of working within a Prison.
The posts in question are available full time working 37.5h a week, however part time may be considered.
BAND 5 - Pharmacy Technicians responsibilities;
1. Accurately dispense medicines and highly complex dose regimes including compliance aids
2. Supervise and train new starters, apprentices, assistants, qualified or student technicians
3. Provision of a quality service, demonstrating reliability in routine dispensing of medication
4. Participate in rota for Accuracy Checkers, checking items that have been dispensed by pharmacy staff for issue to individual patients
