The role
Van Driver / Drainage Operative
Location: Rainham, Essex (Covering London & South East)
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Hours: 06:00 17:00 + (1 in 7 Saturdays)
Key Responsibilities:- Complete daily routes including tank emptying, water refills, and drainage work
- Carry out servicing for large events and client sites
- Operate and maintain vehicle equipment including hydrants and effluent systems
- Empty vehicles at sewage treatment works (STW)
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional vehicle
- Liaise with the office for job updates or issues
- Follow strict health & safety procedures and wear correct PPE at all times
Requirements:- Must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement)
- Maximum 6 penalty points
Pay:- £13.00 per hour (06:00 16:00)
- £13.00 per hour (after 16:00)
- £17.50 per hour (weekends & bank holidays)Minimum 5 hours paid per shift
