Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic trainee care coordinator based in the Leyburn office. As part of the care team, reporting to the Registered Manager, you will oversee the daily delivery of services, ensuring clients and carers receive excellent, well-managed, and efficient support.
The ideal candidate will be well-organized, computer literate, and possess a confident, caring approach when engaging with the public, both over the phone and in person. A full UK driving licence and access to a car are required. Prior experience in the care industry is desirable but not essential, as comprehensive training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
1. Managing carer availability and ensuring client care needs are met.
2. Conducting home assessments and drafting care plans.
3. Maintaining administrative records using online and physical filing systems.
4. Managing emergency care cover as needed.
5. Participating in on-call duties on a rota basis.
6. Handling new client and carer enquiries.
7. Promoting company values and ensuring quality assurance.
8. Addressing and resolving complaints.

Person Specification
Experience (Essential):
* One year's experience in a domiciliary care service (desirable).
* Well-organized with attention to detail.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Good interpersonal skills, sensitive dealing over phone and in person.
* IT literacy.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must possess a full driving licence and access to a car.
