Hoffmann Reed, a specialist executive search and leadership advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to support our growth within the pensions and investment sector.
This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone with proven SDR experience in a B2B environment. The successful candidate must have a demonstrable track record of booking meetings, generating qualified opportunities, and engaging confidently with senior decision-makers.
About the Role
As our SDR, you will take ownership of outbound lead generation, senior-level outreach, and early-stage pipeline development. You will work closely with the UK Client Lead to identify target organisations, initiate conversations, and secure high-quality meetings with decision-makers.
This role suits someone who understands B2B prospecting, is comfortable navigating long sales cycles, and can communicate a clear value proposition to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and research prospective companies within the pensions and investment sector
* Conduct targeted outbound outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn)
* Engage directly with C-suite and senior stakeholders
* Qualify prospects and understand business challenges
* Book high-quality meetings for the UK Client Lead
* Maintain accurate CRM records and track pipeline activity
* Support market mapping and growth planning
Essential Experience
* Experience as an SDR in a B2B environment
* Demonstrable track record of booking meetings and generating pipeline
* Comfortable engaging senior decision-makers
* Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
* Organised, proactive, and resilient in outbound activity
* Able to manage long-cycle, consultative conversations
Desirable Experience
* SDR experience in professional services, financial services, consulting, recruitment, or executive search
* Understanding of pensions, investment, or related markets
* Familiarity with CRM tools (Tracker RMS is an advantage)
