Cairnmartin
Cairnmartin Court Care Home is a modern care facility providing Residential Dementia and Nursing Dementia care across 62 rooms. Located just 13 minutes from Belfast city centre in west Belfast, it is close to shops, amenities, and public transport. Cairnmartin has a dedicated team offering person-centred care 24 hours a day. The home is currently undergoing renovations, including four new ensuite bedrooms and a conservatory with landscaped gardens. Cairnmartin aims to feel like a home away from home, where residents are greeted with a smile and where individual needs are prioritized.
The Role
You will be committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care, fostering a welcoming environment where residents are treated with respect and dignity, and staff feel valued. As part of our frontline team, you will assist with daily activities, ensuring residents' wellbeing and comfort, while providing emotional support and fostering meaningful relationships.
Main Responsibilities
1. Assist residents with daily activities such as dressing, bathing, eating, and mobility.
2. Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life.
3. Encourage independence and involvement in activities.
4. Support moving and handling using appropriate techniques and equipment.
5. Monitor residents' health and report changes to the healthcare team.
6. Follow individual care plans to ensure comfort and safety.
7. Maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.

Desired Criteria
o Educated to QCF/NVQ Level 2 is desirable but not essential.
Required Criteria
o Right to work in the UK.
o Experience in Health and Social Care preferred, but full training will be provided.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
o Good standard of English, both oral and written.
o A non-judgemental attitude.
o Excellent communication skills and compassion for high-quality resident care.
o Respectful of residents and colleagues' values and beliefs.
