We are seeking a London based Project Director to enhance our senior delivery team and drive excellence across multiple large scale experiential programmes.
This is a senior Project Director role, not a production or single project delivery position. The role is accountable for overseeing multiple complex experiential projects simultaneously, owning commercial performance including GP, forecasting, and pricing, and setting the standard for how projects are run across the agency. You will lead senior project teams, act as the escalation point for clients and delivery, and operate as a business partner to senior leadership beyond hands on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Work closely with the Global Project & Production Director and Client Services Director to align delivery with business vision and client growth objectives
Attend and contribute to business strategy meetings
Input into wider business planning including marketing, training, insights, research, and social presence
Support recruitment across the business where required
Contribute to agency wide planning and long term capability development
Project & Programme Leadership
Oversee multiple large scale projects simultaneously, ensuring consistency of delivery standards across all teams
Maintain faultless project management standards across budgets, critical paths, status documents, and production schedules
Create detailed and methodical budgets, project plans, and team structures independently
Introduce streamlined documentation and ways of working where required
Provide senior oversight and direction across junior and mid level team members' projects
Lead on pitch development including research, strategic narrative, team structures, contingency planning, and delivery frameworks
Confidently lead client presentations, internal meetings, and creative pitches
Act as escalation point for clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders
Navigate complex conversations and commercial challenges with confidence alongside senior leadership
Drive proactive problem solving and structured delegation across teams
Commercial & Account Ownership
Maintain full visibility over the annual calendar of works and resource planning across relevant accounts
Own pipeline forecasting and the broader financial picture for assigned accounts
Oversee estimating, budgeting, reconciliations, and invoicing across the team
Proactively manage GP performance across all projects ensuring targets are met
Communicate account and financial performance clearly to senior leadership
Act as senior point of contact for account briefings and strategic discussions
Manage and maintain pillar client relationships with a focus on retention and growth
Identify long term opportunities and initiate account development activity
Contribute to new business plans and growth strategies alongside the Managing Director
Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Junior PMs, and Coordinators
Support individual career development planning for direct reports
Coordinate internal training and learning sessions
Support recruitment in partnership with the Global Project & Production Director
Ensure internal processes reflect agency culture and are consistently executed
Contribute to succession planning and long term team growth
Key Skills And Experience Required
Demonstrated experience in a senior Project Director or equivalent role within an experiential or brand experience agency
Proven experience running large, complex projects with integrated project and production teams
Experience managing projects valued in the millions
Experience working within agencies of 30 plus employees
Experience operating within high growth environments
Experience delivering international projects
Strong commercial acumen including GP ownership, forecasting, and pricing strategy
Confident communicator with strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience line managing and mentoring senior team members
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Hours and Location
This is a London based role operating on a hybrid working model. We are in the office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Standard office hours apply, though deadlines, travel, and installations may occasionally require extended hours.
