On behalf of our prestigious client, we are seeking a SAP Project Finance Analyst to support the delivery of major programmes through robust financial planning, forecasting, and data quality management within SAP.
This pivotal role enables accurate project financial reporting that supports effective decision-making and ensures alignment with corporate financial standards and targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Analytics & Reporting
2. Input and maintain project financial data in SAP on behalf of Programme Delivery Teams.
3. Produce monthly cash forecasts and accrual reports for Capital Accountants.
4. Generate and analyse monthly financial reports to flag projects at risk of overspending or deviating from plan.
5. Process and Procedure Management
6. Collaborate with the Commercial and Strategy team to implement and refine SAP project management procedures.
7. Develop, own, and ensure compliance with financial processes and timelines.
8. Project Data Quality Management
9. Monitor and improve the quality of financial data within SAP.
10. Manage the Close Down PMO process to ensure proper project closure in line with M&G and Capital Accounting requirements.
11. Provide expert support to Programme Delivery teams on SAP planning practices.
12. Advice and Training
13. Deliver monthly finance workshops for new Project Managers as part of their induction.
14. Foster a strong culture of continuous improvement in Health & Safety across all responsibilities and team interactions.
What We're Looking For
* Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills, ideally with experience in project or capital finance.
* Proficiency with SAP project systems or equivalent enterprise-level tools.
* Solid understanding of financial reporting cycles and accounting principles.
* Experience supporting large programme teams and managing data integrity.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* A proactive approach to continuous improvement and compliance.
