Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Nurse to join our dynamic team, providing flexible and rewarding work opportunities in wonderful nurseries across Berkamsted, Buckinghamshire, utilising your expertise in childcare and education to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children aged 0-5, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, and supporting their development through high-quality childcare and education, including planning and leading play-based learning activities, and promoting a safe and positive environment for all children, with a focus on early years education, nursery care, and childcare services.
Key Responsibilities
As a Nursery Nurse, your key responsibilities will include planning and leading play-based learning activities, providing personal care such as feeding, toileting, and settling children, promoting a safe and positive environment for all children, working alongside nursery teams to support children’s development, and assisting with observations and documentation as required, all while maintaining a friendly, flexible, and professional attitude, and adhering to the EYFS framework, with a focus on childcare, early years education, and nursery care, in a variety of nursery settings, including private nurseries, nursery schools, and childcare centres.
Required Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will need a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare, recent experience working in nursery or early years settings, knowledge of the EYFS framework, an enhanced DBS or willingness to apply, and a friendly, flexible, and professional attitude, with excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team, providing high-quality childcare and education to children aged 0-5, in a supportive and nurturing environment, with a focus on child development, early years learning, and nursery education.
