About the Role:
Were looking for a confident and capable Internal Sales Executive to join our trade sales team.
This is a crucial role all about building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers, handling outbound calls, and driving opportunities through our sales pipeline.
You'll be part of a close-knit internal team and work in tandem with our field sales reps helping generate leads, manage accounts, and ensure we're delivering a great experience for every trade customer.
This role suits someone whos commercially switched-on, enjoys a sales conversation, and understands how to speak to large manufacturing businesses, SMEs and sole traders.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound calling to prospective and existing trade customers.
Managing customer relationships. Building strong, long-term relationships with customers by understanding their needs, timelines, and material requirements providing timely support and solutions.
Managing day-to-day customer engagement and account growth
Updating and managing data and pipeline stages in our CRM system
Working closely with field sales to share insight, book visits, and follow up opportunities
Supporting internal team collaboration and sharing learnings across the group
Reporting sales activity and customer feedback directly to the Sales DirectorMust-Have Skills and Experience:
A proven track record in internal sales or account management
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Confident phone manner and a natural relationship-builder
Well-organised and comfortable juggling multiple accounts
Competent using Microsoft Office & CRM systems
Self-motivated but also a good team player
Preferred Experience:
Previous B2B sales experience ideally within:
o Windows and doors / fenestration industry
o Physical trade product sales (e.g., door hardware)
o SaaS sales into trade or SME accounts
Experience in account management or customer service within a commercial environment
Understanding of the sales cycle and how to move prospects through it
Package:
Salary: £30k with OTE of £40k+
25 days holiday + bank holidays
Hybrid office and home working availability
