Social Worker – Derbyshire County Council

What You’ll Do
* Provide a high-quality social work service that helps individuals and communities achieve their potential.
* Work in partnership with people to assess needs and develop tailored care plans.
* Act as an advocate for vulnerable individuals, ensuring their health and wellbeing.
* Manage a varied caseload and lead on complex cases, including safeguarding and court work.
* Build strong relationships with individuals, families, and partner agencies.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience: Assessment of need, multi-disciplinary work, and supporting people with emotional, personal or practical challenges.
* Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to plan and manage your workload effectively.
* Knowledge: Person-centred care planning, risk management, relevant legislation, and welfare benefits.
* Qualifications: BA Honours in Social Work (or equivalent) and current HCPC registration. Grade 11 Social worker or 2 years post qualifying.
