Job Description We are seeking a Content Operations Manager to join our digital team and ensure the smooth delivery, quality, and performance of our web and app content. This role is pivotal in coordinating day-to-day content operations while supporting strategic initiatives across product, marketing, and digital channels. You will manage content workflows, optimise CMS processes, lead a small team of content professionals, and work directly with CMS engineers to develop workflows and deliver CMS enhancements that drive efficiencies in our content production process. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day content operations across web and app platforms, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality publication. Oversee CMS workflows, including scheduling, approvals, and governance. Collaborate closely with CMS engineers and feature teams to implement CMS enhancements in line with business requirements and develop workflows that improve content production efficiency. Coordinate with marketing, product, and editorial teams to implement BAU changes and larger strategic content projects. Align editorial/BAU content roadmaps with the PR and Investments teams on a quarterly basis. Ensure content complies with brand, accessibility, and regulatory standards. Carry out QA checks when publishing or reviewing website content using a comprehensive checklist, so that it complies with best practices for SEO, accessibility and mobile responsiveness. Monitor content performance, engagement, and conversion metrics, using insights to recommend improvements. Lead and mentor a small team of Content Editors and Content Coordinators. Drive process improvements for content production, publishing, and governance. Act as the central point of contact for cross-functional content initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to standard. Ensure all content is fully compliant and reviewed within regulatory requirements Support and enable the business to deliver good outcomes for retail customers by helping achieve any regulatory requirements, including consumer duty. Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience in content operations, digital content management, or web publishing within financial services, fintech, or investment platforms. Willingness to work hard, learn quickly and demonstrate high level of flexibility. Strong knowledge of Drupal CMS and digital publishing workflows. Experience leading small teams and coordinating cross-functional projects. Excellent organisational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and initiative, with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and quality. Understanding of SEO, analytics, and digital engagement principles. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growing organisation. Great communication skills with the ability to adjust to developers and non-technical audiences. Good, practical, understanding of web technologies, HTML and Javascript. Excellent problem solving and knowledge of the business to proactively get support. Able to manage time independently, meet deadlines and complexities. Highly organised and used to managing own workload. Familiarity with accessibility and regulatory requirements for digital content. Passion for improving the customer experience through content.
