Job Overview
We are looking for a Trumpf Punch Operator experienced in operating Trumpf punch machines to produce high-quality metal parts, components, and products. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining punch press equipment, adhering to safety standards, quality guidelines, and production schedules.
Main Responsibilities
1. Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate Trumpf punch machines according to specifications, ensuring proper alignment, tooling, and settings for efficient production.
2. Material Handling: Load raw materials, typically sheet metal, into the punch press and ensure correct feeding during operation.
3. Quality Control: Inspect parts for accuracy and surface quality using measuring tools.
4. Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
5. Production Efficiency: Monitor and adjust the process to maintain schedule and efficiency.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols, maintain a clean work environment, and wear protective gear.
7. Documentation: Complete logs and maintenance records.
8. Collaboration: Work with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
9. Tooling Management: Change and maintain punch tools and dies.
Qualifications & Skills
* Experience operating Trumpf punch presses or similar CNC punch machines.
* Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and machine setup.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
* Familiarity with measuring tools for quality checks.
* Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
* Attention to detail and high-quality standards.
* Good communication skills and teamwork ability.
* Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments is a plus.
