A well-established engineering manufacturer in Scarborough is looking to strengthen its service team with the addition of a Service Engineer. This is a varied, customer-facing role offering a strong mix of workshop-based support and international field service work, ideal for an engineer who enjoys both hands-on work and technical problem solving.
Monday to Friday
8am - 5pm
Salary £39k - £43k with further earning potential
The role:
Provide technical support and troubleshooting, both remotely and on-site
Carry out service, repairs, overhauls and commissioning of specialist machinery
Support customers with training and product instruction
Process service requests and spare parts enquiries, including preparing quotations
Work closely with production and logistics to ensure smooth delivery of parts and services
Support administration linked to service and spare parts ordersWhat we’re looking for:
Proven experience as a Service Engineer, ideally within HVAC, ventilation or similar sectors
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills on machinery and equipment
Confident working independently in a customer-facing environment
IT literate, with MS Office experience, ERP systems such as SAGE beneficial
