Your new role
As the Head of MIS and Admissions, you’ll take on a high-impact leadership position overseeing the College’s Management Information Systems, Admissions, Exams andpliance functions. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of funding returns to key bodies including ESFA, GLA, and HESA, while managing the full student data journey, from application through to achievement. This role offers the chance to lead cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement in data systems and play a central role in curriculum planning and student recruitment. It’s a strategic, hands-on position where your expertise will directly influence institutional performance and student oues.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring a strong background in Further Education MIS and fundingpliance, with the leadership skills to inspire teams and the technical acumen to manageplex data systems. Your knowledge of ILR requirements and ESFA funding rules will be robust, and you’ll have proven experience guiding MIS teams through the full funding cycle. A deep understanding of student record systems and data integrity checks will be essential, along with the ability to produce and interpret analytical reports for a range of stakeholders. You’ll be confident supporting curriculum planning and forecasting, navigating audit processes and ensuring alignment with funding body regulations.
