OFFICE MANAGER
Location: Islington (fully office based)
Salary: £35k - 40k
Hours: Full-time | Monday-Friday 9 - 5
We are recruiting for an Office Manager on behalf of our client, a family run business who are expanding due to continued growth within BM TRADA certified fire door works. We are seeking a highly organised, proactive Office Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, compliance administration, scheduling, and financial processes.
About the Role
This is a key position responsible for ensuring projects run smoothly from enquiry through to completion while maintaining compliance, client satisfaction, and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
Managing the day-to-day running of the office
* Scheduling engineers for programmed and reactive works
* Coordinating BM TRADA fire door installation, inspection, and maintenance projects
* Preparing and managing RAMS (Risk & Method Statements)
* Ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and certification requirements
* Liaising with clients, contractors, and suppliers
* Following up on leads, quotations, and new enquiries
* Supporting the securing of new contracts and ongoing client relationships
* Raising invoices and overseeing credit control
* General accounts administration (purchase orders, expenses, records)
* Maintaining accurate job files, documentation, and audit trails
* Supporting audits and certification processes

✔ Experience in construction, fire safety, facilities management, or similar preferred
✔ Knowledge of fire door regulations or BM TRADA schemes advantageous (training provided)
