Job title: Programme Manager
Contract: Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 37.5 hours per week

JOB PURPOSE:
The post holder will be responsible for managing and leading teams to ensure the operational delivery and service management of clinical and non-clinical services, achieving programme completion within budget and timelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and lead the team effectively, ensuring high performance, compliance with appraisals, personal development plans, and training.
2. Oversee operational delivery of immunisation services, ensuring accessibility, efficiency, and effectiveness.
3. Manage local uptake levels, working towards targets and KPIs.
4. Monitor financial aspects of the immunisation program, adhering to budgets and tracking costs.
5. Collaborate with local authorities, NHS, and other stakeholders to coordinate service delivery.
6. Plan strategically at the programme level, implementing changes and process improvements.
7. Collect, analyse, and report data on vaccination rates, coverage, and performance metrics.
8. Identify and assess risks and vulnerabilities in service delivery.
9. Implement data-driven strategies to improve services and vaccination uptake.
10. Support staff through transitions with communication, training, and resources.
11. Ensure health promotion activities are carried out across all programmes.
12. Undertake additional duties as appropriate and ensure compliance with company policies.
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
* Degree qualification
* Experience delivering large, complex programmes in regulated industries
* Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage collaborations
* Experience improving clinical or non-clinical environments
* Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards (desirable)
* Strong leadership, empowerment, and motivation skills
* Experience with budget management and data analysis
* Ability to work independently, prioritise, and manage workload
* Assertive, team-oriented, and critical thinking skills
* Excellent IT and communication skills
* Strong analytical skills
