Job Overview
We are seeking a temporary reliable and approachable Administrator to join our busy and passionate Care Home team.
This is a temporary role but could lead to a permanent opportunity. Working closely with the Registered Manager and Care Manager, you will be delivering excellent customer service to our residents, visitors and colleagues.
It is a varied role suited to someone who is well-organised, confident using basic office technology, and enjoys being part of a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Answering incoming phone calls and taking clear messages.
* Greeting visitors, including family members and professionals, signing them in.
* Managing the office email inbox (Microsoft Outlook).
* General administrative tasks such as typing, minute taking, filing, laminating, photocopying, and printing.
This role is based in a small care home where many of our residents are living with dementia. The successful candidate is needs to be patient and understanding with residents who may want to converse with you whilst you are completing your tasks and be struggling with memory loss and confusion.
Job Types: Temporary, Temp to perm
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
