We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Logistics Manager to lead, direct, and manage our operational logistics team. This role is critical in ensuring the highest standards of health & safety, environmental compliance, and operational efficiency across our logistics functions.

* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety

* Ensure operations align with our Environmental Management Plan
* Lead initiatives to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability

* Guarantee adherence to all statutory legislation and internal company regulations
Operational Excellence
* Achieve optimal production levels at the lowest operational cost
* Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
Logistics & Distribution
* Collaborate with logistics teams to deliver high customer service levels efficiently
Quality Assurance
* Partner with technical teams to maintain top-tier product quality
* Lead quality control for rail, transport, and stockpiles
* Investigate and resolve quality complaints through Root Cause Analysis
Business Analysis
* Work with the Area Operations Manager to ensure accurate and actionable logistics data
* Support profit-enhancing initiatives through data-driven decision-making
Resource Planning
* Ensure teams are well-resourced, trained, and equipped to meet business goals
Team Leadership
* Provide clear direction and foster a culture of development and accountability
Operational Control
* Implement robust controls across safety, environmental, capital expenditure, and revenue
Collaboration
* Foster a "One Team" culture by working closely with all departments
Education/Qualification
* Higher level either vocational or educational
* Minimum 5 years relevant operational experience
* NVQ Level 4 in SHE quarry operations
