You'll be joining at a moment where your work directly moves the needle on growth. We operate a four-day week with unlimited holidays and hybrid working. You'll work closely with the Founder and CEO, CGO, Head of Product & Marketing, and Head of Engineering - alongside a talented team of Engineers, Designers and Researchers.
The role
This is the bridge between strategy and execution at Whering. Working closely with the Head of Product, you'll be the person who takes our product vision and makes sure it gets built - owning the roadmap planning process, keeping delivery on track, and ensuring engineering always knows what to build next and why.
You'll sit at the heart of our cross-functional team - working alongside the founder, CGO, Head of Engineering and Head of Product to evaluate and sequence the roadmap, manage competing priorities, and turn product thinking into clear, actionable briefs. Alongside that, you'll take meaningful ownership of defining and shipping future B2B product areas - working directly with clients, collaborating with researchers, and project managing partner integrations.
What you'll do
Roadmap planning & delivery
* Own the roadmap planning process - working with the Head of Product, founder, and engineering to evaluate, sequence, and prioritise what gets built and when
* Manage the day-to-day backlog - keeping tickets well-defined, sprints well-planned, and delivery on track
* Draft clear, structured product briefs for features across the product, working closely with the Head of Product for sign-off
* Keep cross-functional teams aligned and unblocked throughout delivery
B2B product
* Work directly with B2B clients to understand their needs and feed insights into the roadmap
* Collaborate with our user research team on B2B discovery
* Draft product briefs for B2B features, translating client requirements into clear, actionable specs
* Project manage integration plans with partners - owning timelines and coordinating across teams
Stakeholder management
* Be the connective tissue between engineering, product, and the wider business
* Facilitate roadmap planning sessions and manage competing priorities with clarity for final sign off
* Keep stakeholders informed and aligned on progress and decisions.
* Track, report on, and obsess over the metrics that matter.
Who you are
* You've worked in a Product Owner or product management role before and you understand the full cycle from roadmap planning to shipped feature
* You're technically literate enough to hold your own in conversations with engineers - evaluating feasibility, understanding trade-offs, and asking the right questions
* You're organised and rigorous - your tickets are well-written, your sprints are well-run, and nothing falls through the cracks
* You're a natural communicator - as comfortable in a client meeting as you are in sprint planning
* You thrive on being the person who connects the dots - between strategy and delivery, between teams, between what clients need and what engineering builds
What you're looking for
You'll need:
* Experience in a Product Owner or product management role
* Proven ability to manage a backlog, run sprints, and keep delivery on track
* Comfort working closely with engineering teams and evaluating technical trade-offs
* Strong written communication - your briefs are clear and your tickets are actionable
* Experience with Jira or equivalent tools
Bonus points if you have:
* Experience working with external clients or partners.
* Familiarity with B2B products or partner integrations
* Background in consumer tech, fashion, or e-commerce
