Overview
Community Support Worker - Wake & Watch. Caring and reliable Community Support Worker to work in Adult Social Care at Lancashire County Council. We are looking for cheerful and positive individuals who would like to make a difference to the people we support. Our Short Break Service requires enthusiastic Community Support Workers to join us in making a substantial difference to the lives of the people we support within our Adult Disability Service.
What You Will Do
* Provide night-time support to people we support. No specific background in Health and Social Care is required; training will be provided.
* Assist with personal care, finances, medication and daily activities; help people participate in the community and maintain a positive outlook.
* Support accessibility to activities, outings and everyday tasks to promote wellbeing and independence.

* Empathy & Resilience – understanding of challenges faced by service users, ability to communicate clearly, stay motivated and provide reassurance even on difficult days.
