To meet their strategic service goals, our client has recently been granted new funding and look to add an accounts assistant to their 5 strong finance function on an interim basis for a minimum of 6 weeks. The client will be looking to add an accounts assistant to their team on a permanent basis and the position provides great opportunity for long-term success.
Your new role
As Accounts Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the finance function through a variety of administrative and transactional tasks. You’ll be responsible for:
1. Scanning and uploading invoices into the finance system (Sage)
2. Processing purchase ledger transactions accurately and efficiently
3. Monitoring finance mailboxes and responding to queries
4. Supporting wider finance admin tasks and rolling up your sleeves to help where needed
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys being a reliable support across the team.
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll bring previous experience in a finance or accounts support role, ideally within a busy environment. Familiarity with Sage or similar finance systems is desirable, along with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.What you'll get in return
