Deputy Care Manager – Supported Living, Dereham, Norfolk
Could you be a Sense Deputy Care Manager? Sense is looking for a passionate and motivated person to join our fantastic team as a Deputy Care Manager within our Supported Living service in Dereham, Norfolk.
This role is a 10‑month fixed‑term maternity cover ending February 2027, working 37.5 hours per week. Salary £31,122 per annum FTE (as of April 2026).
We support 5 adults with complex communication needs, physical health conditions and multi‑sensory impairments. The people we support enjoy a wide variety of opportunities – such as walks, days out, dancing and art – and we encourage them to gain life skills and live full and active lives.
Responsibilities include:
* 30 hours of office administrative tasks per week.
* 7.5 hours of hands‑on Support Worker shifts per week.
* Work evenings, weekends, sleep‑ins and lone working as required.
* Collaborate with the Registered Care Manager to help run the home.
Other duties may include training new staff, managing care plans, and maintaining service standards.
