Job Title: Machine Operator

Hours: Triple Rotating Shift work (Monday to Friday)

We are continuing to look for experienced, (or has a willingness to train) machine operators or individuals whose CV demonstrates some kind of mechanical background (professional or personal).
This is a factory / manufacturing based environment working on a rotational triple shift basis. The shifts do not disrupt weekends, but you must be able to cover all shifts if you wish to apply. All successful candidates will be given full training to operate, and maintain machines that produce their product. You will be focused on performance and accuracy, naturally confident and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
The hours are Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern and all applicants must be able to cover all shifts, your working week is 37.5 hours and overtime is payable thereafter
Mornings: Mon – Fri 6am – 1.30pm
Afternoons: Mon – Fri 1.30pm – 9.30pm
Nights: Mon – Thurs 9.30pm – 6am
Responsibilities:
* Accurately and efficiently operate complex machinery
* Meet production fulfilment needs of internal and external customers
* Maintain high standards of company etiquette and codes of conduct
* Contribute to a manufacturing process that is safe, efficient, and sanitary
* Verify that safety equipment on machinery is functional prior to operation
* Follow production instructions, either written or verbal, as necessary
* Set up and perform minor calibrations on machinery, as needed
* Operate machinery in a safe manner
* Perform inspections of machinery to ensure efficient operation and production
* Maintain high quality of products as produced through machinery
* Ensure performance against the skills criteria
