Key Responsibilities
* Have excellent inter-personal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people

* Have experience of school business management
* Be conscientious, efficient, honest and friendly
* Be able to analyse and produce financial reports for a range of stakeholders and ensure compliance with the financial regulations and procedures to meet all statutory requirements
* Be able to lead on key projects to support the school to continue to improve and thrive
* Be able to multi task and work across more than one site
* Be able to work to deadlines and remain calm under pressure
Our School Business Manager will be a key part of our senior leadership team supporting our two schools and their associated Additional Resource Provisions (ARPs) to Build a Brighter Future together. Duties will be varied and include setting and monitoring the schools budgets, monitoring the ARPs expenditure, leading the administration team, asset management, ensuring our schools remain compliant in key areas, providing financial summaries and reports for governors and the SLT, proactively seeking and managing new finance streams, health and safety and being a welcoming face. A good working knowledge of common IT packages is essential, and full training on the MAT Finance and Health and Safety software used in school will be provided. A positive attitude, conscientiousness and adaptability are essential.
