Business Development Associate | Salary Quarterly Bonus Property Finance | Outbound Sales | Borehamwood (Office-based) Our client is building the next phase of its broker growth engine and is hiring a Business Development Associate to sit at the front line of its UK intermediary relationships. This is a high-energy, phone-focused, outbound sales role. It will suit someone who enjoys volume activity, structured calling, and commercially intelligent conversations - and who wants to build a long-term career in specialist property finance rather than short-term telesales. You will be the first point of contact for brokers : reactivating dormant relationships, re-engaging existing introducers, and introducing the company to new broker firms across the UK. Your success will be measured by consistency, call quality, broker engagement, and the strength of meetings secured for the external Business Development team. Why this role? The role Working from a highly impressive office space, you will: Make outbound broker calls daily Systematically work through: Existing active broker lists Dormant and historic broker relationships Target new broker firms across the UK Introduce our clients lending proposition clearly and professionally Qualify broker appetite, lending focus and deal types Secure meetings for external BDMs based on broker location and regional coverage Reactivate brokers who have not transacted recently Capture accurate broker intelligence and activity on the CRM Use LinkedIn and social channels to support broker outreach Warm broker relationships ahead of BDM meetings Maintain high standards of call quality, follow-up and professionalism Work closely with Sales, Marketing and the BDM team to ensure aligned messaging Represent our client as a credible, knowledgeable first point of contact in the market This is a structured, target-driven role where volume, consistency and preparation matter - but so does how you conduct the conversation.
