Job Description
This is an opportunity to join one of the world’s premier PCB engineering design groups. The role involves designing hi-speed PCBs and deploying market-leading products. It is a challenging role in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
* Design leading-edge PCBs for electronic assemblies used in military and aerospace applications
* Perform basic signal and power integrity analysis on designs
* Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback
* Ensure PCB designs meet quality and design criteria
* Collaborate with hardware, mechanical and manufacturing engineers to optimise designs
* Operate with initiative to deliver products that meet customer and business needs
* Maintain high quality standards, adhering to best practices and approved procedures
* Communicate development status to team and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner
* Create and archive projects, generate drawings, documentation and reports
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (processes, tools, project management)
* Coordinate tasks and activities associated with the design process
* Undertake other duties as appropriate for the role

Education Required
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering or industry experience equivalent
* Demonstrable experience of complex PCB design
Skills/Knowledge Required
* Extensive knowledge of ECAD tools and high-speed design best practices
* Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition tool set (Layout, Designer, CES, EDM, Fablink, Library Manager)
* Knowledge of PCB design cycle, Design for Testing / Fabrication & PCB Assembly
* Experience with multi-layer, sequential & HDI technology
* Experience with high-speed interfaces (e.g., DDR4/5, GDDR6, PCIe Gen 3/4, Gigabit Ethernet)
* Experience working with global cross-functional teams
