Internal Sales Executive

£35,000 - £38,000 plus excellent holidays, pension and general benefits
My client, a family owned, distributor and fabricator based in Shrewsbury, is looking to recruit an experience Internal Sales Executive to join its friend and well-established team.
Reporting to the Sales Team Leader, this exciting role includes selling online, over the telephone and in person to our customers throughout the UK and overseas with products from leading manufacturers. You will be responsible for winning orders, meeting and exceeding sales team targets to maximise sales and margin.
Key duties
* Proactive approach to potential new customers and growth of existing customer base.
* Using current company data/leads to grow sales and generate own leads.
* Preparing quotations for customer project requirements
* Offer guidance and advice to customers as well as sell the benefits of products offered by maintaining good product knowledge.
* Follow up quotations and key account customers to win orders
* Work with customer service advisor to offer sector leading customer support and service.
* Liaise with suppliers to target specific customers
Essential skills and experience
* Proven sales track record, preferably with a technical background
* Numerical and analytical skills
* Computer skills including Excel and Microsoft Office
* Attention to detail
* Team player
* Organised and focused on delivering results
* Experience of sales position in a busy office environment
* Evidence of a ‘self-starter’ who does not require close supervision, and uses own initiative
* GCSE C or Level 2 in Maths, and English.
* Knowledge of CRM and order Processing software
