Cat B Driver – Temp to Perm Opportunity in Crawley

The Best Connection Employment Group is currently recruiting for an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector. Our client, a globally recognised leader in their field, is looking to expand their team by bringing on committed Drivers, with the potential for permanent employment following a successful probation period.
This is a great chance to establish yourself in the fast-paced and rewarding Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain industry.
Working Pattern: 5 days out of 7 (Sundays always off)
Pay Rate: £15.17 per hour (PAYE)
Responsibilities
* Operate a Category B vehicle across various routes throughout the Southeast and London
* Deliver beds to residential properties, with training provided for basic assembly and installation
* Work with a driver’s mate to offload and position goods in the customer's chosen area
* Complete pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any safety concerns
* Follow delivery schedules and all assigned job instructions accurately
* Comply with all health and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
* A valid Category B driving licence
* Ability to carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
* Previous experience is desirable
