Family Practitioner Service – Staffordshire Moorlands
We are offering a permanent part‑time position as a Family Practitioner. The role involves working closely with children and families, collaborating with social workers, and supporting children in need.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead early help assessments and plans
* Collaborate with social workers to support children in need
* Contribute to parenting assessments
* Support mediation, crisis prevention, conflict resolution and life‑story work
* Complete accurate documentation, reports and records relating to work with children, young people and their families
Ideal Candidate
* Minimum of NVQ Level 3 related to working with children and families or relevant experience
* Experience supporting children and families in homes, delivering direct work and engaging children, families and carers creatively
* Flexible working hours – available for evenings and weekends as required
* Current UK driving licence and vehicle
* Desire to work with children and families to provide timely support and help keep families together where safe
