Junior Hotel Operations Manager

We are seeking a Junior Operations Manager with strong Food & Beverage expertise to support the daily operation of the hotel, with particular responsibility for F&B performance and service standards across the business.
About the Role
As Junior Operations Manager, you will work closely with senior leadership to oversee hotel operations, strengthen service standards and contribute to commercial performance. A significant part of your role will focus on our Food & Beverage outlets, ensuring operational efficiency, high-quality service delivery and strong financial results.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on hospitality professional looking to grow into a senior operations leadership position.
Key Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Hotel Manager, you will support the daily operations of the hotel, ensuring coordination across departments
* Lead and supervise Food & Beverage operations (restaurant, bar, banqueting, room service)
* Maintain high service standards and oversee guest satisfaction across all outlets
* Monitor F&B financial performance including revenue, cost control, GP margins and labour management
* Ensure compliance with health, safety and food hygiene regulations
* Train, coach and develop team members to maintain high performance standards
* Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, stock control and supplier relationships
* Handle guest feedback professionally and oversee effective service recovery where required
* Undertake duty management shifts and operational decision-making
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Minimum 2–4 years' experience in hotel operations, with strong F&B leadership experience
* Solid understanding of restaurant and bar operations, cost control and revenue performance
* Experience leading teams and maintaining clear performance standards
* Commercially aware with sound analytical judgement
* Clear communicator with strong problem-solving capability
* Hands-on and adaptable, with the ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of PMS and POS systems
* Relevant hospitality qualification preferred
