Digital Marketing Manager - Maternity Cover
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Manager who will provide strategy and support across all our digital marketing channels. Reporting to our Head of Digital, they will manage our paid advertising team, develop and improve our CRM strategy and support the roll out of our loyalty programme.
What You'll Do
* Lead the Paid Advertising team, covering social, search, display, map and other advertising ensuring all key marketing campaigns and sales driving initiatives are covered, both at a central and local pub level
* Manage the Paid Media & Content Executive and Digital Engagement Specialist
* Work with Area Sales and Marketing Coordinators to ensure local advertising calendars and budgets are optimised to deliver the best results
* Track campaign performance and monitor spending
* Oversee campaign creative, copy and targeting, ensuring it is on-brand
* Develop an ongoing paid advertising strategy for the business, ensuring efficiencies, performance and best use of budget and team resource
CRM and Loyalty
* Develop and improve CRM strategy across the business, improving metrics, training teams on best practice and creating central campaigns to support both the Young’s pub business and the Young’s Rooms loyalty programme
* Manage day to day relationship with CRM platform provider (Acteol) to ensure value from Account Management hours and that tasks follow the Business Plan and schedule
* Support Area Sales & Marketing Co-ordinators and pubs to deliver best in class email marketing programmes with personalised, relevant and timely content aligned to sales strategy
* Provide training and upskilling to pubs and Area Marketing Co-ordinators on Acteol platform, new features, best practice, copywriting and TOV
* Support the launch and ongoing management of the Young’s Rooms loyalty programme by writing, building and monitoring member communications
* Set up, test and maintain automated CRM campaigns including welcome programme, pre and post stay, birthdays, reviews and feedback, corporate bookings
* Analyse reporting to identify areas for improvement, shaping strategy and CRM performance
* Create campaigns aligned with the marketing calendar
You + Young’s Loyalty
* Support launch and day to day management of the You + Young’s loyalty programme
* Collaborate with revenue, marketing and digital teams to create sales-driving campaigns and offers
* Coordinate with suppliers and third parties to agree additional member benefits and rewards
* Own the member journey and help resolve customer queries
* Understand member preferences and segment based on customer behaviour
Strategy and Campaign Execution
* Provide strategy and support in implementing all digital marketing initiatives across major Young’s and Young’s Rooms campaigns
Skills & Requirements
* Minimum 6 years of experience in a digital marketing role
* Proficient with Google Ads and Meta for Business - essential
* Experience managing direct reports - preferable
* Strong understanding of digital marketing practices, advertising and analytics - essential
* Experience using CRM systems to send tailored marketing communications - essential
* Experience managing a loyalty or rewards programme - preferable
* Data-driven decision maker
* Strong copywriting with excellent spelling, grammar and attention to detail
* Good project and time management skills
* Self-starter, outgoing and good people skills
* Experience in hotel or hospitality marketing is preferable but not essential
