Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dormitory Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all dormitory residents. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Clean and sanitise common areas, hallways, and bathrooms on a regular basis.
* Dust, mop, and vacuum floors, carpets, and furniture in resident rooms and communal spaces.
* Remove rubbish and recycling, ensuring that bins are emptied and cleaned as needed.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately to management.
* Follow all cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a hygienic living environment.
* Restock supplies as needed, such as toilet paper, soap, and cleaning products.
* Assist with special cleaning projects and deep cleaning tasks as requested.
* Maintain a positive and respectful attitude towards residents, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Qualifications:
* Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus.
* Ability to work independently and responsibly.
* Strong attention to detail and organisation skills.
* Must be able to follow instructions and adhere to cleaning schedules.
* Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents and staff.
