Job overview
The post holder will provide leadership for the 24 hour Trust-wide Mental Health Helpline Managers and Practitioners in maintaining clinical and non-clinical standards of care and in implementing quality service improvements including ensuring that Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards are met. The post holder will provide the leadership, operational co-ordination and management across the 24 hour Trust-wide Mental Health Helpline. The helpline was established in April 2020 in response to the pandemic as part of the Long Term Plan for mental health. This role will involve working closely with the Associate Directors, senior management teams and partner agencies to ensure the delivery and development of high quality services.

Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Qualified and registered RMN/S/OT
* Post graduate training relevant to mental health/leadership/management
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Demonstrable significant experience as a senior clinical practitioner in mental health
* Management and/or leadership of mental health services
* Clinical experience in a range of mental health settings
* Delivering service/practice innovation, development and change
* Budgetary management
* Ability to etablish professional boundaries and resolve operational issues
* Ability to contribute to strategic planning
* Proven effective leadership skills
* Ability to motivate staff and achieve goals through the actions of others
* Ability to reflect on and critically appraise own performance
* Ability to take part in oncall rota
* Ability to work through and recognise resistance to change
Desirable criteria
* Educated to masters level in relevant area
