The opportunity to join our onsite preferred catering supplier in Shirebrook is ideal for enthusiastic individuals seeking the next step in their hospitality career, with a passion for learning and progression. We offer an excellent work-life balance, working 40 hours a week with a kitchen close time of 8 pm. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will support the core of our growing business, assisting both the Kitchen Team and Front of House to deliver exceptional service to colleagues.
Your responsibilities include supporting menu development with the Head Chef and Catering Manager, ensuring the provision of healthy, nutritious, exciting, and cost-effective meals. You will actively seek customer feedback to keep food and service options relevant and appealing, driving sales and positive reviews. Managing stock rotation, supporting stock management to reduce waste, ensure product availability, and maintain stock security is also key.
You will complete daily food safety checks, including allergens and legislation compliance, contribute ideas to improve offerings, stay updated with market trends, and assist with training and onboarding of kitchen staff. Following all food safety, health and safety, fire, and security policies is essential.
