We are working with a leading main contractor, highly regarded for delivering large-scale construction projects to the highest standards. Known for their commitment to quality and excellence, they have an impressive track record of completing complex, multi-million-pound projects across London and the South East.
Role Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join their team on a temporary basis for 6 months, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and maintaining project documentation, ensuring all records are accurate, up-to-date, and fully compliant with company and project requirements. Immediate availability is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain project documentation systems on Aconex.
Develop project-specific document control protocols in line with company standards.
Support consultants and project teams with Aconex processes, including registrations and uploads.
Set up workflows and ensure smooth circulation of drawings, reports, and submissions.
Manage and track document submissions, including Gateway processes.
Ensure compliance with project requirements and document control best practices.
Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely information flow.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry.
Strong working knowledge of Aconex.
Demonstrable experience supporting large-scale projects, ideally valued at £100m+.
Familiarity with Gateway submission processes is desirable.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
