The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Research Technician to join our customer`s Global Cell Bank team in Cambridge. This fully operational, lab-based role supports cell culture activities and ensures smooth weekend operations (Friday–Monday) as part of our 7-day science initiative.

Location: Cambridge
Schedule: Friday to Monday (Weekend Shift)

As a Research Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our cell culture operations, supporting cutting-edge research and ensuring our labs never miss a beat.
What You’ll Do
· Perform routine cell culture and banking
· Support tissue culture by providing live cultures (Flasks/Plates) for screening
· Cultivate HEK293, CHO, and ExpiSF9 cell lines for recombinant protein expression workflows (transfection, feed, harvest)
· Prepare reagents and media, aliquoting as needed
· Conduct QC testing and data analysis
· Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards
· Deliver seamless handovers to keep operations smooth
What We’re Looking For
· Degree in Biological Sciences or equivalent lab experience
· Hands-on expertise in cell and tissue culture and aseptic techniques
· Familiarity with IT systems and Microsoft Office tools
· Strong attention to detail, proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills
