Job Summary: As a Learning Disabilities Support Worker, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives and actively participate in their communities. You will promote independence, wellbeing, and choice while supporting daily living activities and delivering tailored care plans. Key Responsibilities: Support service users with personal care, household tasks, medication, and mobility needs. Encourage service users to achieve personal goals and maintain independence. Facilitate access to community resources, services, and activities. Maintain accurate records and contribute to service monitoring and reviews. Ensure health and safety standards are met and risks are effectively managed. Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals. Participate in training, development activities, and continuous service improvement. Uphold Turning Point’s values, policies, and quality standards including CQC compliance. Requirements: Genuine passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities. Ability to work in a person-centred, empathetic, and professional manner.
