Throughout the role you will serve as a key support member for families on their break, fixing faults and replacing items on behalf of the Technical Services team. The team delivers speedy responses to any service breakdown while maintaining a high quality of care so guests can relax knowing they are being taken care of.
WASTEWATER TREATMENT WORKS ENGINEER | £19.03 per hour
We are looking to appoint a Wastewater Treatment Works Engineer to join our Technical Services team. In this role you will carry out tasks to resolve issues, reporting any defects or concerns that may cause future problems.
Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections and carry out planned preventative maintenance.
* Assist with any other general work briefed by Technical Services Management.
* Resolve issues and report defects or concerns that may cause future problems.
Qualifications
Essential requirements
* Electrical
o Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation Theory & Practice or equivalent NVQ/SVQ qualification in Electrical Installation.
o C&G 2381/2 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations.
* Plumbing or Mechanical
o Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering.
Desirable requirements
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure.
* Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
* Previous experience or working knowledge of BMS systems, CHP Plant, District heating systems.
Hours of Work
You will be contracted to work 160 hours per 4‑week period on a flexible basis. These shifts will fall between 6:30 am and 4:00 pm and may vary each week but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period. The village is open 365 days of the year, so your working hours will include weekends, public/bank holidays and during Christmas/New Year on a rota basis. You will be required to be ‘on call’ for any out‑of‑hours issues.
