Important Sponsorship Information

We are currently unable to offer a certificate of sponsorship for this post. As a Prison Services Clinical Pharmacist, you will act as the GP Pharmacist for HMP Channing Wood, providing medicines optimisation services, supporting GPs and dispensary teams on-site, and working closely with patients on medication queries and reviews.

Your responsibilities include devising and implementing searches using SystemOne to identify high-risk patient cohorts, managing medicines for LTCs, leading practice compliance, developing new services, and supporting audits and training. You will also be involved in clinical medication reviews, deprescribing, and running LTC clinics.

Additional duties involve acting as responsible pharmacist in the dispensary, managing workload, and ensuring compliance with CQC standards. You will also support public health campaigns, including immunisations, and develop the prison formulary in collaboration with other colleagues.

All applicants must be willing to undertake National Security Vetting and provide proof of right to work, ID, address history, and, if applicable, police certificates or overseas checks.
