We are seeking a Caretaker with experience in site security, premises management, and general maintenance to ensure Brighton Girls is a safe, welcoming, and well-maintained school.
This role offers training and opportunities to develop your skills and experience further.
Working with our Premises Manager, you will perform emergency and routine maintenance, including plumbing, electrical works, and repairs.
You will also be responsible for site security, conducting tests on fire alarms, and checking fire exit routes and fire doors.
We will provide health and safety, fire, and first aid training.
Candidates should have experience in identifying maintenance needs, monitoring fire risks, conducting preventative maintenance, and performing emergency repairs, as well as minor plumbing and electrical works.
The role can be physically demanding; you should be able to move furniture and handle deliveries around the site.
