Location: Near Fairford

* Hours: 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours per week)

* Salary: £29,000 to £33,000

* Benefits: 10% pension contribution, 27 days holiday + BH + Xmas off, Life Assurance, Employee Assistant Programme

The Burford Recruitment Company are delighted to be working with a well-respected charity near Fairford, who are seeking a proactive and organised Property Manager & Estate Administrator to join their dedicated team.

In this role, you will oversee half of the organisation’s direct-let residential property portfolio, ensuring operational efficiency and positive tenant relationships, while supporting the charity’s broader mission. You’ll combine property management with estate administration, helping maintain high standards and contributing to the impact of the charity’s work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct residential rent reviews to ensure market competitiveness
• Manage debtors and maintain positive tenant communications
• Ensure properties meet all regulatory requirements (e.g., EICRs, gas safety, EPCs)
• Coordinate scheduled and emergency repairs and maintenance, liaising with contractors
• Conduct annual property inspections and uphold maintenance standards
• Prepare tenancy agreements and related documentation
• Handle deposit administration, including dispute resolution
• Maintain and update the property database (Landmark) and digital files, produce KPI reports
• Draft and format essential documentation, correspondence, and internal reports
• Gather and record key information (meter readings, council tax), process invoices, and raise recharges
• Process purchase orders and maintain accurate financial records
• Use mapping software, such as Pear GIS, to create property plans

Skills & Attributes Required

• Experience in property management or rural estates, with knowledge of lettings and compliance
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software
• Collaborative, personable, and professional, with respect for confidentiality
• Motivated, proactive, and solution-focused
